The story so far…
I began my creative journey in 1993 with decorative painting using acrylics, exploring traditional styles inspired by a variety of cultures. Painting was a huge part of my life during those early years, but like many seasons of life, it was gently placed on hold while I focused on raising my children.
In 2020, I rediscovered painting and fell in love with watercolour. I was captivated by the fluidity of the medium, the beautiful unpredictability of pigment, and the endless techniques it offers.
Today, I happily teach both watercolour and acrylic painting, sharing the unique qualities and creative possibilities of each medium. Having a paintbrush back in my hand has been incredibly fulfilling. Over the years, I’ve come to understand just how much creativity and painting positively impact my wellbeing.
It wasn’t long before I realised I wanted to share that joy with others. Teaching felt like the natural next step. I now host beginner-friendly classes, as well as sessions for those with more experience, guiding students through projects at their own pace in a supportive and relaxed environment.
I work full-time as an artist and educator, based in South East Melbourne, where I teach from my Cranbourne studio. It’s a privilege to spend my days doing what I love - creating, learning, and helping others discover their own creativity.
